Crash courses and Intensive Driving Lessons

Many people naturally assume that taking a crash course of say one week is the quickest way of passing your test - it isn’t & in fact it can take longer than by taking our 6 week course

The reason is that you clearly want a Driving Test at the end of your course and as we cannot book that test until you have passed your theory test we cannot book the course until you have passed that test.

So we have to wait for a couple of weeks for you study & apply for the test. Only when you have your pass certificate can we book the test - which is usually a 6-8 week lead time.
So it usually takes a minimum of 8-10 weeks.

However if it is speed that you are interested in...................

*Apply for your theory test today
*Start taking any and all available lessons from tomorrow
*Given that it will take 2 weeks to study & pass your theory test you can probably complete enough lessons to get you to test standard by the time you pass your theory.
*Apply for a “Short notice” test which will often come through within a day or so.

It is possible to pass within 3 weeks with this approach!

If we still like the idea of a course then read on - as we have intensive courses and structured courses:

All intensive/crash driving course's come with 1-2-1 tuition as standard.
This means that you and your driving instructor are the only people in the car.
Sounds strange? If you are not familiar with the way the cheaper driving schools work.
The cheaper driving schools have up to 3 students in the car at the same time.
This appears to save you money, but at the sacrifice of cutting down your training hours. At Golden Driving School ALL our lessons are guaranteed to be 1-2-1 tuition (private to you)

*INTENSIVE COURSES ARE COMPLETED OVER 3 WEEKS OR MORE

* 4-8 HOURS OF LESSONS EACH WEEK FOR EXAMPLE

* OK FOR BEGINNERS IF YOU ARE GOOD AT CONCENTRATING

* GREAT FOR PEOPLE WITH DRIVING EXPERIENCE

HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU NEED?

10-15 HOURS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY REACHED A HIGH STANDARD

20-25 HOURS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY HAD 15-20 HOURS DRIVING

AROUND 40 HOURS IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER OR HAD VERY FEW LESSONS

**THE HOURS STATED ARE A GUIDE FROM THE D.S.A. AND COULD VARY EITHER WAY DEPENDING ON LEARNING SKILLS AND COURSE TAKEN !!

* CRASH COURSES ARE USUALLY COMPLETED IN A WEEK

***The crash course does not include the driving test fees. We can book your driving test if you wish, but you will need to add the test fee onto your lesson fees.***
